About
Justin has valued hundreds of businesses and securities across mergers and acquisitions, recapitalizations, equity conversions, earnouts, minority interests, intellectual property, and complex instruments. His background includes leadership roles in independent advisory and public accounting (Elliott Davis and Grant Thornton) and he also participated in a global bank international program. Over nearly two decades, he has guided clients through complex valuation, and transaction decisions with a client-first approach and holistic perspective.
Born in Seoul, South Korea, Boyd was adopted as a young child by an American couple living in Upstate New York. What began as their plan to adopt one infant became something extraordinary, as over the next three years the Boyds welcomed eight children under the age of six from three different Korean families, becoming the largest single-family naturalization in U.S. history. When his adoptive mother later passed away, his father raised all eight children alone, an experience that shaped Boyd’s sense of resilience, gratitude, and community. Those lessons carried into his professional life, where he began working at a young age, pursued different educational paths, and found early success in M&A transactions and business valuation. While his accomplishments are meaningful, it is his core values of authenticity, perseverance, and compassion that continue to guide him and the firm today. Outside of work, Justin enjoys playing golf, discovering new restaurants, and spending time with his dog Bebe.
A hands-on leader and communicator, Justin spends much of his time engaging with clients, refining service and financial models, and advancing new ideas on how valuation can better inform strategic planning and capital decisions. He is known for bridging valuation theory to real-world business outcomes translating technical complexity into practical real-life insights. Boyd shapes OneTriad’s voice in the market through thought leadership, mentorship, and a collaborative culture centered on quality, integrity, and innovation.
