Our Story

The OneTriad story continues the legacy of Titus Alliance, which was built on a people-centric culture when founder Justin Boyd brought together his first analyst hires, Agustin (Gus) and Dmitriy. They formed a team of three (CFA Charterholder and candidates) united by a shared a vision for excellence in 1. client-service, 2. quality and 3. delivery. The trio began automating their financial models beyond industry standards, pushing them to the brink of full automation.

This innovative approach earned Titus Alliance national recognition as one of six finalists for “Valuation Firm of the Year” by The M&A Advisor for 3 consecutive years. The firm was also honored as the 25th fastest-growing company by the Charlotte Business Journal’s “Fast 50” and was featured on Inc.com’s list of the “Fastest-growing Private Companies: Mid-Atlantic” all achieved without increasing headcount.

After Dmitriy left to pursue his MBA at Chicago Booth (now with UBS Investment Banking in NYC), Michele joined the team 3 months later. She brought valuable experience from Starbucks Corporate Development as well as her prior work with Justin at Grant Thornton, where she developed advanced financial models for one of the world’s largest accounting firms.

As the team pushed the boundaries of automation, they discovered critical, human-driven complexities that made full automation virtually impossible. In a multi-billion-dollar valuation profession, they sought robust business appraisal software to fill that gap, but they found only simplified tools that relied on median multiples, results could be adjusted by users, or failed to meet the professional standards of business appraisals. Simply put, not all companies trade at the median multiple, some trade higher, others lower. Accurate valuation requires rigorous analysis and professional experience to determine where a business fits within the market data range.
